Some new shows this summer

I have some really exciting group shows coming up in June.  Both pieces are part of a larger piece i hope to show in September called Signs and Signifiers.

Signs and Signifiers (mothers Eyes) is part of Young Glass at the Glasmuseet in Ebeltoft.  Young Glass happens every 10 years and is meant to "focus and take stock of the work created by the younger generation of artists working with glass."  the show opens June 9th.

Signs and Signifiers (Mi Corazon) will be part of Transparency: An LGBTQ+ Glass Art Exhibition at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia.  

"For more than 40 years, LGBTQ+ identifying people have gathered in the month of June to commemorate their struggles, celebrate their identities, and advocate for their communities. What we now call “LGBT Pride Month”or simply “Pride” is a worldwide phenomenon that reminds us that the freedom to live our truth is necessary for a liberated society.
For Pride 2017, the National Liberty Museum will host the nation’s FIRST museum exhibit of studio glass works produced exclusively by artists of the LGBTQ+ community."
